I have had pelvic/lower intestinal hurting for about eight months at present. It is a continuous hurting, some occasional blood in my stools. My Dad had Colon cancer at aged fifty and died at 56. My sister has polyps removed reguarly. I am 49 and had an early on menopause. My claret tests are normal except for a loftier hateful heamoglobin count? I had a sigmoid flex only information technology was articulate. I have no idea what it could be but am worried it is an undetected cancer? Anyone take any thoughts on this? My GP does not seem concerned.

Love, I had bloods taken a few times in the sew together to Feb this year and not ane of them indicated I might take cancer. I was diagnosed and when I await over my claret examination results online, in that location are no clear indicators. I am shocked your GP has dismissed your concerns virtually bloody poos.That's one of the signs the NHS put up several months ago. Get a second opinion to rule it out and explain what you have written here. With your Dad dying of colon cancer, they should be taking your concerns seriously.

Thank you for your response.What were you diagnosed with and how did you become the diagnosis please? How are yous feeling at present? Promise yous are OK. I exercise not know who to ask to persevere with my concerns. Shall I go dorsum to the GP again? What if they just say not to worry?

I was initially diagnosed with a grade 3 breast cancer tumour. That's now been upgraded to Stage 2 considering it'southward in my lymph nodes next to the affected breast. I was diagnosed afterward a routine self-exam. My GP'due south do nurse examined the lump and I knew from her expression it was cancer, which was confirmed 2 weeks later. My GP surgery allows patients to read their notes electronically, so I can see blood exam results and compare them against standard norms. No indications at all in my bloodwork that I had cancer, which you might have thought would evidence up.
I would become dorsum to the GP, discuss your worries - don't see the same i who dismissed yous. Explain what you lot have written here. Cheers for your reply. I actually hope you get better and are receiving skillful care and treatment. At least you had it diagnosed fairly chop-chop and it sounds like you have a good GP do. Great that yous tin can read your notes electronically- what a skilful thought. I think the more info you have, the less broken-hearted it is because you are more in control and can have a better understanding. A lot of GP pratices seem to exist stopping all services that aren't continued to Covid-19 at the moment and then it's non a practiced time to request investigations! Mine just seem to want you discharged/ awayfrom their practice ASAP unless you are practically dying in which example y'all'd just go to A and E anyway!. They have said I can't accept a scan for example, but I think that a scan would be very useful at the moment, even if it is to alleviate some of my worries. I don't really desire to await months until this covid-19 is over!
I retrieve I will call again side by side calendar week like you said and see what they say. I guess sometimes it is how you talk to them as to how they answer! These pains and bloating accept got to exist due to something!

How-do-you-do Tul, I hope y'all don't mind me asking but what did yous observe with your self-examination? That made yous take a check? Was it completely obvious? I take had a few doctors ***** my left breast recently equally I accept extreme pain with pressure and a random burning sensation hither and in that location. I have large breasts and breastfeed my two year onetime 1-ii times a day. My breasts have always felt lumpy simply in that location are a few bumps where the breast is sore only I can experience somewhat some lumpiness there in the other although experience slightly more prominent on the left. There is a squishy rigid mass that concerns me but when mentioning this to doctors they never seemed concerned / don't feel it during an exam as information technology is quite deep I guess especially with my boobs being 34 HH. I am only 25 merely this hurting is driving me crazy. I do have palpable lymph nodes in my armpit and a teeny one on the collarbone/neck but they are all moveable and take been scanned and considered okay. I just don't know whether The doctors are missing what I'm feeling or it's merely completely normal - I detest examining my breasts considering it's confusing and lumpy.

Did you get further tests done to see if you had cancer?
I had a colonoscopy yesterday and unfortunately they found a malignant neoplasm. I had the same symptoms as you lower abdominal hurting, blood in stool and had to continuously go to the loo. I'g worried i have secondary cancer in the liver but I spoke to the doctor this morning and she said my liver seemed fine from the claret tests. I'm hoping that's a very expert sign!
Just waiting on dates for scans.

I know this post is from some time agone but I was wondering how you are geting on, hope you are OK and recovering. I also accept only had conformation I take cancer in my left breast and investigations into two lymph nodes on the aforementioned side that look cancerous. Sounds Iike I am in a very similar state of affairs to where you were. My blood work is all clear too which is phenomenal, you would thunk something would look a miss wouldn't you? If you don't mind me request what form of treatment did y'all have? I accept to wait until the 12th to observe out. the waiting is awful

Hi Tara,
That was me for months and months and months. Originally thinking I had ovarian as I had ovary issues and swelling but also like every symptom of a gyno cancer.
Scans are done and treatment meeting attended. Total mastectomy and all lymph node removal for me, and so on to chemo and hormone injection/pills. Sounded like a mixture of both. Pre medical assessment was yesterday and surgery can't come up quick enough...24th. Due to the delays and mishaps I'1000 late stage enough. So the quicker the better.
Now I've figured out how to reply...annihilation yous need...

Hey Julie i hope you are well merely been reading through all your comments as I'yard too having problems with getting my medico to have me seriously
I'm 27 and had a baby a few tears ago virtually a year later his nativity I started with hurting in my middle spine that'southward radiated to my neck my doctors put it down to having a baby and stress on my body and then I believed them and got on with it and it sort of went away well now its back I've been getting pain all the fashion up now and radiates under my armpit and in the sides of my breasts I went dorsum and explained she felt effectually and sent me for bloods to be done all came back clear she put me on sertraline for my anxiety from the stress of it all and now to height it off I've got iii lumps at the back of my caput and unsure if information technology's the medication I'grand taking or part of my pains I'm petrified I don't wanna leave my son but I can't milkshake the feeling that somethings seriously wrong and equally they say we know the best for our bodies

People say don't end fighting but I never and still got nowhere. Now I'm under good specialists taking me seriously every bit it is serious...they can't believe all that's been going on. That itself has stories attached and I was heading that route several times. The last time at that place, nonetheless once again the md didn't retrieve and its a doc that has to refer. That delayed and then many weeks and me trying to get through that my actual chest clinic date came through. Mri tin be expensive but with it not beingness thousands...I'll never overthink again. I'1000 applying for pip now and if granted I'll put aside a portion every payment and that'll be what it'due south for. I'll trust myself with my own health. But back , spine or caput ...Mri is the best diagnostic tool. Nhs volition take back over if something is diagnosed. Stress doesn't help us. So just something to consider. All this has price me dearly. I should have went. Fifty-fifty taking a loan for a few hundred. It's your life. And I certainly wasn't wrong on how serious something was going on in my body. Hi I'm currently awaiting an mri just I've been told there is a long look, my pelvic scan has come up back with lots of abnormalities do you take any suggestions of where to perhaps volume a individual mri & the kind of toll I might be looking at
